Pune: High drama was witnessed at Sangvi police station when the Shiv Sena female party workers marched a 29-year-old dance teacher to Sangvi police after blackening his face, alleging that the teacher had raped a girl under the false promises of marriage.
The arrested person has been identified as Kunal Vishwanand More (29), a resident of Pimpale Saudagar. The incident came to light, when the Shiv Sena’s Pimpri-Chinchwad party worker–Mangala Ghule along with others dragged him to police station. A case of cheating and rape has been registered by Sangvi police station on the base of victim’s complaint.”
Mangala Ghule, Shiv-Sena’s Pimpri-Chinchwad president said, “Victim was taking dance tuitions with arrested person for last two years. Later he offered victim partnership in the dance academy claiming she can earn money. They developed a love affair and he promised to marry her and later raped her. The victim realised later when he avoided her that in past, he had done so with many women on which she approached us. We even approached other women who were molested and raped by him. We decided to teach this dance teacher a lesson. From his academy till police station, we marched him by blackening his face.”
Saifan Mujavar inspector in-charge of Sangvi police station said, “One victim has come ahead to lodgea complaint against More and we will investigate if there are other cases. The process of registering the complaint is going on.”
